Leading swiss watch manufacturer AP has decided to launch an all out-attack on the plastic watch design copy industry. With the popularity of their Royal Oak offshore watch, tons of imitators have been let loose. In fact, just the other day while having coffee with an old friend of mine I spied what I thought was an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore on his wrist, but I thought to myself, He couldn’t be wearing a $25K watch, he’s not that kind of guy!… And turns out it wasn’t… he was weaing a simple off-brand from the local department store with the design stolen from AP.

Now AP is getting back. They have won many court cases and may be paving the road for other swiss watchmaking brands. More info here:

Snapped a quick video review of the Cartier Panther full size watch. This guy is 30mm wide, and 40mm lug to lug, making it a very thin and accesible gents watch, perfect to wear under the cuff of a dress shirt. Very subtle, yet instantly recognizable, the Cartier Panther is a true classic, like its brother the Cartier Santos.

The model reviewed is the Full size with two-row solid 18K gold. It is available in 1 row and 3 row as well, but the best looking one is the two row in my opinion. Hope you guys enjoy the review!

I did a review on a Breitling Cockpit Big Date wristwatch video.. let me know what you think! It was kind of unrehearsed, but It should give you a good idea of the size and feel of the watch. Hope you enjoy it!

There were a few new models that were introduced at Baselworld 2007 at the massive Breitling Showcase ‘booth’… not sure if you can call something that big a booth.. with a huge aquarium and all that stuff. Check out the scene:

This is my video review on YouTube of the Versace Madison Chronograph watch. This is an automatic watch with an exhibition caseback showing the ETA 2894/2 Movement with signed Rotor.

This is a really cool watch, and you can see in the review what it looks like and the relative size of the watch on my 6 3/4″ wrist. The whole case is brushed… with a somewhat rough brush, not a fine grit brush like you usually see. Not sure If i like that brushing, but it still looks great nonetheless.
