In the wake of the break-up of Ferrari and Panerai, many wondered who would be the next to carry the Ferrari logo on their watches. This has been answered: Hublot.

The partnership between Hublot and Ferrari far surpasses the typical licensing and sponsorship agreements that Car companies often forge with Watch companies, thich one is described as a “genuine exchange between the two brands, a pooling of resources and information.”

Hublot becomes the exclusive watchmaking partner in the full range of Ferrari’s activities including the “Official Watch” of Ferrari, “Official Timekeeper” of Ferrari, “Official Timekeeper” of Scuderia Ferrari, “Official Watch” of Scuderia Ferrari, “Official Timekeeper” of the Ferrari Challenge, and partners in Ferrari special events.

“Exclusivity, technology, passion, style: Hublot and Ferrari share many core values and this new partnership between two such highly prestigious brands is an important milestone for both,” said Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, president of Ferrari.

HUBLOT – F1™ King Power Tourbillon

As the Official Formula 1™ Watchmaker, Hublot presents the first tourbillon ever developed with and for the prestigious world of Formula 1™. Available in a strictly limited series of 50 numbered pieces, the F1™ King Power Tourbillon Gold Ceramic is 48 mm in diameter and equipped with a HUB7300 tourbillon chronograph movement. It features a 5-day power reserve, a special tourbillon cage and a balance decorated like a F1™disc brake, as is the circular-satin-finished ceramic bezel. The strap, stitched on rubber, is made of Nomex®, a synthetic fibre used in the manufacture of racing-driver suits. Jet Li has helped Hublot launch their new 100 square metre Beijing Boutique, which is their third in China. Jet Li joins the Hublot brand as their first Asian Ambassador and should help boost their popularity in China because of Jet Li’s international star power. I remember when Jet Li was promoting the Piaget Polo watch… the Hublot brand seems much better of a fit for Jet Li.
