Just posted a video review of the Daniel JeanRichard Chronograph watch. This is the TV Screen Chrono with the ETA 2824 with Chronograph Module movement. Its a pillow shaped 38mm watch, and looks great. Enjoy the review!

Just noticing this on the blog.
I have a Daniel JeanRichard Grande TV screen automatic watch with many complications and can sing their praises.
Mine has day, date, month, seperate second dial along with hour and minute hands.
The face is very clear to read and the weekday and month function also very good, set back each in a cutaway window.
The day in the month is shown as a long hand with a red crescent at the end which ‘cups’ the number corresponding with the day of the month.
Each of these have a small push button at the side of the watch, two on side, one the other which requires a small item to use as a tool to push into the button. A pin works well. Not finicky but requires a little dexterity.
The month window is the only fault I have in the watch, when the months change, ie June to July then the day changes as usual, the actual date in the month changes (except when short month as figures go to 31) but the month does not change automatically you require to manually push the button to change it.
This may be only on my watch and to to fair I don’t wear the watch ALL the time so it may be through the mechanism not being wound through use that is the issue, but it is not a problem.
That is the only criticism I would level at it.
Oh perhaps that it doesn’t show at night! No luminous hands so quite dark of yoy need during these hours or you are in Iceland in the winter months!
Wonderful watch.

Chris – I can see that’s just a limitation of the movement… The date and the month are adjusted separately, and it makes sense.. because if you were going to set the date and needed to go past 31 to get to say the 1st of the month, and then the month changed while you were adjusting the date that might be annoying if you happened to set the month first. I only have one full calendar watch and the month was changed by moving the date past 31 so they would always change together.
