Breitling SuperOcean Video Review
Posted by The Breitling Source under Breitling , Watch Reviews[4] Comments
Here’s a video that’s been long overdue.. one of Breitling’s more popular models, the Breitling SuperOcean. A classic diver that has been compared to the Rolex Submariner and Omega Seamaster time and time again, but offers the benefits of a significantly improved depth rating over the other two.
The SuperOcean is a great watch. I hope you enjoy the review. Some quick stats:
Movement: Breitling 17
Power Reserve: 42 Hours
Water Resistance: 1500m
Diameter: 42mm
Thickness: 15mm
Weight: 99.7g

I own this watch. The screw in crown breaks every year. It has a major design flaw. By another watch from another maker. Two guys service the whole eastern seaboard. They are horrible.
The guy in the video has very feminine hands as-well.

Thanks, I appreciate the complement on my hands 🙂

Thank you for the video.
I recently bought this watch and, with this being my first nice watch and not knowing much, was searching the net for other peoples opinion and found the video enjoyable.
So far so good with mine. Being used to cheapo quartz watches I was a little concerned I’d find this to big and heavy but I’ve gotten used to it and now quite like the size.
If the time found on greenwichmeantime.com is to be trusted this watch has been keeping time amazingly well too.
I overlooked this video before I bought the watch but did browse at other parts of the site and found it helpful so thanks again.

Bought mine, a 2006 x-plus, in 2008. The power reserve is only about 6 hours before it starts running slow. After winding, it takes about 12 hours on your wrist to start keeping accurate time. Going to get it serviced in Vancouver next week. Maybe that will help, but over all the watch has been a pain in the butt.
