I got an email the other day from a fellow who is on the search for another limited edition Breitling that I have never heard. This one is worthy of mentioning because it is a really neat looking watch, and is quite limited in Number. Apparently only 250 of these were made, and it is a brushed Crosswind Special with only 2 subdials, and red second and subdial hands. Very interesting watch. I would really not mind owning one myself. Take a look at this nice LE Breitling here:

This is a really cool watch, from one of my favourite watch makers… not necessarily one that I can afford, however. It’s been made for a very long time by the company, and resembles some of the neat stuff that Urwerk is putting out as far as movement is concerned, though the style is nothing like theirs. The AP Starwheels is just an incredbly neat watch that no one ever talks about anymore! Check it out below for a link to Minute Machines:

Check out the Breitling B-1! This watch was recently replaced by the Breitling Airwolf, but many still prefer the B-1 over the Airwolf as it is a bit more traditional in it’s Breitling looks. See and decide for yourself:

Here’s an interesting question that someone asked:

“I have had my Brietling Navitimer for about a week now. I have a question about long term use of the chronograph. I just like the way the watch looks with the second hand sweeping around the dial. Is there any significant downside to just letting the chrongraph run all the time? I would guess the time the watch can run without being wound is reduced. Also, I worry about the extra wear on the movement. Does anyone else let there chrongraph run all the time? Any other comments?”

Well, the Valjoux 7750 is not designed to have the movement running continuously, however it is not going to destroy the watch. There will be extra stress on the movement and it will not be quite as accurate as if you ran it without the chronograph running. Also, It will also drain your power reserve faster. Some watches have a power reserve with and without chronograph running rating, usually about 10% less with the chronograph running.

Hope that answers your questions!

Check out this new beautiful watch from Bulgari. It looks like Bvlgari is attempting to really take a shot at being a true watch design house. It features a perpetual calendar with Tourbillon and is a limited edition of 20 pieces.

The Platinum case is a whopping 48mm! It features double sapphire crystals and the movement is the automatic in-house Caliber BVL 416 with 64 hours of power reserve. YES, IN HOUSE!

Price on this baby is $155,000.
