I no longer have the Eklund, so its not really possible even if I were to purchase a Stowa to do this comparison, unless I were to buy another Eklund, which I don’t think I would do. The Stowa’s come in many different sizes, some very small. I find they are a bit overpriced.

I would look at Laco and Stowa for German. For Swiss possibly Debaufre/Steinhart.

What are some recognizable German and Swiss brands you would choose instead?
