Baselworld 2008 Breitling Booth

One of the more knowledgeable but new members of the Breitlingsource forums, Bere4421 recently visited Baselworld 2008 in Switzerland and took some pics when he was there of the beautiful Breitling Booth. Again the fishes were back, and the massive booth does not fail to amaze.

The Breitling showroom had 4 floors, a bar and a full restaurant.. bloody amazing. That’s where all the money from our watches goes!

This was my first Baselworld and also last.
I came to see my favorite brand Breiling.
I came to look for collector items which every watch fan do, bags, brochures,booklets etc, etc.
The only think I saw was a fortess garded by 2 bodyguards, who only let pass that kind of people who wear Armani or Vestace
clothes, the common people were not allowed and got a small booklet and could stood there like a child begging for candy.
And one of the beggers was …me.. for this event I drove 1200km .
So I visit the normal brands and came home with 4 bags with nice items.
But deep in my heart I was very disappointed.
But still after this … I bought me a nice Watch ..a Breitling !!!

The Breitling booth at Basel World has a huge aquarium full of fish
built right into it. Very cool.
