George H.W. Bush Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore!
Posted by The Breitling Source under Watch Industry News[3] Comments
George H.W. Bush has donated a special edition of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph that has his signature engraved on the back to the Charity Save the Children for their 75th Anniversary. It is organized by Bill and Melinda Gates and the Gates Foundation.
I’m not sure if Bush is donating the watch or of AP is donating it.. it sounds like Bush is, but I’m not sure if the watch was made a while ago and he is now donating it or if it was a joint effort created for the charity. At any rate.. kind of a neat watch… I’d rather have it without anyone’s signature on the back though.

You have confused George Herbert Walker Bush, the 41st President
whose name appears in printing on the back of the watch case, with
“Dubya” George W. Bush, the 43rd President. Bush 41, the father of the current occupant of the White House appears, along with his many other distinguished acts of charity , to be the donor of this watch.

Ah! I thought there was something odd about it. Its George HW Bush.. that makes so much more sense now. George HW Bush is a great man.
